A&J's Closet

We have different hair colors, skin tones, and sizes. We live across the country, and we work in different professions.  What we have in common is a serious shopping problem, and a love of fashion.  We like to buy cheap, dress cute, and hoard shoes.  Our hoarding hasn’t been restrained to shoes, however, and we’ve vowed to change our ways. We hope this blog will keep us accountable as we reorganize and rebuild our closets.

Our style is most-likely categorized as preppy-bohemian (we made that up).  And it’s all about the accessories.

If you don’t like clothes, you should follow us anyway. We think we’re kinda funny.

Ashley

The eldest, but shortest, sister, Ashley has been described by her grandmother as “flamboyant.”  We’re still trying to figure out exactly what that means, but we think it’s a compliment. Ashley has been a made a career out of being a student, and after finishing her master’s is now interviewing for full time positions.  In the meantime, she’s grateful this blog gives her a reason to get dressed everyday. She lives in Washington, D.C.

Jennifer

Halfway across the country, Jennifer, the token ginger (and baby!) of the family, resides in our home state of Texas.  (She’s new to Dallas though!)  Jennifer works in a casual office, so you’ll likely see a lot of day-to-night looks from her.  She has a good six inches on Ashley, but still insists on wearing heels.  After all, life’s too short for ugly (or safe) shoes.
