#OOTD. Is it Friday yet? (Taken with Pose)

As summer fades away, it’s time to start thinking about fall. Being from Texas, I have a seriously difficult time dealing with cold weather—and dressing for it can be near impossible.
Sweater dresses are great basics to accessorize with. The possibilities are truly endless. Tights, boots, a leather jacket, and maybe a scarf for everyday wear. At night, put on a pair of heels and a cardigan. Or maybe just a belt and a nice pair of earrings. If you’re in Texas, like J, and the dress is long enough—you don’t even need tights. Just grab a pair of gladiator sandles and you’re off. Do you see where I’m going with this?
Last year, I bought a navy sweater dress. And I wore it constantly. This year, I’m looking to purchase a couple more, so I can mix it up a bit.

I’d like one with some sort of pattern, and while I love the stripes, I’m personally leaning more towards the animal print one from LOFT.
Another solid in a great neutral like an olive-y green or a camel would also be fabulous.
Additionally, any time you can simplify the getting-dressed process, look cute, and feel like you’re wearing pajamas is a major benefit.
You can’t go wrong with a sweater dress. Or three.
